Arran's Sauternes Cask Finish is a well-loved and long-running expression in the distillery's portfolio. Arran embraced wine cask maturation and finishes right from the beginning back in 1995 and over time Sauternes' honeyed orchard fruit character has proven to be one of the most complementary cask types for the distillery's taut, clean, technically excellent spirit.
This Arran Sauternes Cask Finish edition is in the broad, sturdy Arran bottle first introduced in 2020 and has been bottled at a hearty 50% without colouring or chill filtration.

Official Tasting Notes
Nose: Honey sweetness and citrus.
Palate: Richly honeyed and backed with a lifting zestiness which slides into spice and zingy salt. Once the dram opens out, vanilla and sultana stand out followed by notes of toasted oak.
Finish: Sweetness, Honey, Apricots, Melon, Honeysuckle.
