Founded in 1993, Arran Distillery is situated on the Isle of Arran close to the village of Lochranza. It is one of the recent success stories proving that you need hard work and passion to succeed in starting up a distillery.
They are lucky to have some of the purest water in Scotland sourced from the nearby Loch Na Davie and use only two types of barley in production, Optic, and Oxbridge. All this makes for an ever-improving complex and mature style of whisky.
