Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Douglas Laing 70cl / 50%

A single cask Probably Speyside's Finest Distillery 1965 43-year-old Speyside single malt whisky released by independent bottlers Douglas Laing in 2008 as part of their Old Malt Cask series. Almost two decades later it's hopefully okay for us to mention that it's an open secret that these casks were from Glenfarclas distillery.

Bottled without colouring or chill filtration, this 43-year-old Speyside's Finest 1965 came from single cask 4816, a sherry butt that yielded an impressvie 583 bottles at the Old Malt Cask preferred strength of 50%. These magnificent old Glenfarclas casks are a must-try for fans of the classic old school 1960s sherried Speyside style.
