An early 2000s bottling of Laphroaig 10 Year Old Original Cask Strength, this release was bottled at the distillery's natural cask strength of 57.3% ABV. One of the first red-stripe editions, it followed the legendary "Straight From The Wood" Green Stripe releases and predates the reduction in strength to 55.7% introduced a few years later. Matured for a full decade in ex-bourbon casks and bottled without chill filtration, it offers whisky lovers the chance to experience Laphroaig in its purest form.

Powerful yet remarkably balanced, this whisky combines Laphroaig's signature medicinal peat smoke, sea spray and iodine with layers of vanilla, citrus, sweet malt and warming oak spice. Bottling at natural cask strength gives the whisky exceptional depth and intensity.
