Distilled at Clynelish in 2015 and bottled by Adelphi in 2026, this 10-year-old single cask release is a great example of one of the Highlands' most sought-after distilleries. Matured in a first-fill bourbon barrel and bottled at its natural cask strength of 53.7% ABV, it was bottled without chill filtration or added colouring, allowing the distillery's distinctive character to shine through.
Clynelish is renowned for its wonderfully waxy, textured spirit, a style that combines bright citrus fruits, honeyed sweetness and gentle coastal minerality with remarkable elegance. The influence of the first-fill bourbon barrel adds layers of creamy vanilla, fresh orchard fruit and soft oak spice while complementing, rather than overpowering, the distillery's trademark character.
Drawn from single cask #51282, this release yielded just 214 bottles, offering a superb snapshot of Clynelish's celebrated spirit and the subtle influence of first-fill bourbon oak.
