Old Perth 2007 is a limited edition sherried cask strength Speyside blended malt Scotch whisky bottled in 2023 without colouring or chill filtration by Morrison Distillers as the third release in their Vintage series.
This Old Perth 2007 is comprised of single malt whisky from three mystery Speyside distilleries, all distilled in 2007 and matured entirely in Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks before being bottled in 2023 at its hearty natural cask strength of 56.7%. Old Perth 2007 is a limited edition of 1292 bottles and looks like an absolute must for fans of full strength sherried Speyside malts.

If you like your Whisky matured in a sherry cask then you will not be disappointed with this one, the flavours transferred from the Oloroso butts are unmistakably sherry, with a mixture of fruitiness coming through once you’ve added a slug of water, in my opinion at this cask strength you need need a good measure of H2O to really appreciate this very fine reasonably priced Whisky.
