A lovely whisky from Signatory Vintage’s excellent 100 proof series. I’ve yet to drink a bad one of these. Ever so slightly smoky, just a hint, and very fruity. Plenty of sherry notes too. Superb.
Bought this on spec mainly to qualify for free delivery (!) on another bottle and I’m glad I did! Not as sherry forward as some but a lovey, intriguing nose and a soft ish arrival on the palate. Adding a drop or two of water brings out more of the sherry and releases some fabulous fruity aromas. Nice long finish too. May well not be my last bottle of this! Slainte.
A delicious dram when well watered. Lovely smooth flavours and good value.
