Taiwanese Single Malt Whisky Distillery Bottling 70cl / 40%
First bottled in 2021, Kavalan Triple Sherry Cask, as the name suggests, is an assemblage of whisky aged in three types of sherry casks, with Oloroso, Pedro Ximenez and Moscatel sherries all lending their distinctive attributes to Kavalan's Taiwanese single malt.
Bottled at 40%, this is a world away from the massive full strength Kavalan Solist sherry releases, but still packs plenty of flavour. A rich, easy-drinking Kavalan that stands up very well to many much older sherried Speysides.

Tasting Notes
Official Tasting Notes
Colour: Deep scarlet.
Nose: Ripe, mature berries and dried fruits fill the nose, with fresh scents of grapes and citrus interlaced with chocolate brownie and toffee sweetness. Hints of cinnamon, clover and spiciness, blending into pleasant oakiness and fragrant rosemary.
Palate: Lingering flavours of sherry dried fruits. Warm and smooth with a mellow texture. A lively flamenco dance of candied fruit, caramel, and honey sweetness on the taste buds. Multi-layered and perfectly balanced, it's an unforgettable feast for the palate.
Tasting: Best paired with desserts, dark chocolates, nuts, seafood salads, smoky meats and mildly spicy cuisine.

Yes, a lovely expression from Ardnmurchan. As young as it is (5yrs old I believe), it tastes twice its maturity!
Very well made, delicious & beautifully complex smells & flavours to savour.
Having been fortunate enough to visit Scotland’s little gem distillery twice in the past ( amongst several others) it soon became my favourite dram. This like all its predecessors is a pleasure to savour and a real treat . The only problem is the self discipline required to make the bottle last long enough and show the respect and gratitude to its makers in producing this and in my humble opinion all others from Scotland’s little gem.
