A single cask Glenrothes 1995 30-year-old Speyside single malt whisky released by independent bottlers Signatory Vintage as part of their Symington's Choice range. The whisky was bottled in 2025 without colouring or chill filtration.
This 30-year-old Glenrothes 1995 was bottled from single cask 6980, a first fill Oloroso sherry butt that yielded a turnout of 499 bottles at a still-impressive natural cask strength of 54.4%. Signatory's owner Andrew Symington selects the casks for this series himself, as you might have guessed by the name, and he loves a good sherry cask so this should be superb stuff.

Great value bottle from Signatory - full of rich Madeira notes and slight edgy funk of the distillate come together beautifully! Takes water very well.
It’s a good flavour similar to the secret appetite (M) but with even more flavour. You have to add a bit of water to get it to 50% and the flavour is released in full.
