Daftmill 2011 Summer Batch Lowland single malt whisky was released by the distillery at the end of 2023 bottled at 46% without colouring or chill filtration.
Daftmill 2011 Summer Batch Release is a limited edition of 6550 bottles from a small batch of 27 first fill ex-bourbon casks. This 'au naturel' style Daftmill is hugely popular, with deliciously clean, grassy, characterful Lowland notes and plenty of punch.

Complex with subtle dried citrus, raisins as I would usually like in a sherry cask but something (the smoke, grape skins ? from the sherry cask?) unwelcome reminds me of grappa.
