Springbank 15-year-old is released in small batches, with the cask recipe in recent years often featuring heavy use of sherry casks. This is a dram that varies greatly from batch to batch, but the quality is always high and, at its best, this is an unbeatable whisky, sparkling with rich sherry, sooty smoke, ripe fruit and Springbank's wonderful minerally funk.
