Bottled by: Brave New Spirits 70cl / 48.6%
A 28-year-old Old Rhosdhu 1994 and bottled in 2022 by Brave New Spirits for their film noir-influenced Cask Noir series, wherein it's referred to as The Bonnie Banks and The Call of The Past in reference to the Loch Lomond distillery, where production of Old Rhosdhu malt ceased around 2000.
This splendid Brave New Spirits Cask Noir Old Rhosdhu 1994 28-year-old was bottled without colouring or chill filtration at its natural cask strength of 48.6% from bourbon hogshead #6, and recently bagged 88 points from Whiskyfun, where Serge likened it to one of those special tropical Irish whiskies and called it 'absolutely exquisite'.
