Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky Bottled by: The Syndicate's 70cl / 46.3%
A single cask Lagavulin 1979 38-year-old Islay single malt whisky bottled in 2017 at Bruichladdich without colouring or chill filtration for indie bottlers The Syndicate.
The Syndicate is a group of well-connected whisky fans who select casks of great single malt whisky which are then bottled for them at Bruichladdich distillery. Their most famous bottlings are a series of spectacular Lagavulins, several of which are from the 1979 vintage. This 38-year-old single cask Lagavulin 1979 was bottled in 2017 at its full cask strength of 46.3% and yielded just 162 bottles.
It's extremely rare to see any independent bottlings of Lagavulin, let alone a cask of this age and quality, so hats off to The Syndicate for getting their mitts on this outstanding whisky.
The product price on margin items include VAT which must not be shown separately or reclaimed as input tax. Input tax has not been and will not be claimed in respect of the margin goods sold.
