Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Brave New Spirits 70cl / 48.1%
A heavily-peated 17-year-old Inchfad 2005 from Loch Lomond distillery bottled in 2022 by Brave New Spirits for their Cask Noir range, which references the distillery in its title, The Secrets of Bonnie Banks.
Inchfad was one of Loch Lomond's peatiest spirits, but only a handful of official bottlings have ever been released, and it's uncertain whether it's still even being made by the distillery, so these older casks might be the last we see of it.
This particular Inchfad 2005 has been bottled from a first fill Merlot wine barrique #430, yielding 285 bottles at a very drinkable 48.1%.
