North Star are one of the best of the new wave of Scottish indie bottlers, and are really beginning to spread their wings with some very old casks among their recent releases. This 1986 Glenrothes 36-year-old was the oldest cask North Star bottled in 2022 and came from a refill hogshead cask that yielded 220 bottles at an easy-drinking 44.1%.
