Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky Bottled by: Gordon & MacPhail 70cl / 57.4%
A single cask 2008 Glenburgie 14-year-old bottled by Gordon & MacPhail without colouring or chill filtration in 2022 for the Connoisseurs Choice Cask Strength range.
This 14-year-old Glenburgie 2008 came from a single first fill sherry hogshead, Cask 17602306, yielding 318 bottles at a hefty 57.4%. The majority of Glenburgie's spirit goes to owner Pernod Ricard's blends, particularly Ballantine's; Gordon & MacPhail have long been the go-to supplier for fans of this relatively obscure Speyside distillery's easy-drinking malt whiskies.

An exciting deep rich brown coloured liquid.
A compote of fruit together with dried grapes is lovely on the tongue.
Nicely sweetened syrup is evident too.
Invested in two bottles but will be ordering a third.
Great warming malt enjoyed by two. (One aka Pig)
