Petite Champagne Cognac Fanny Fougerat 70cl / 47.8%
Sir Type 72 is a fabulous 50-year-old single cask Petite Champagne cognac from female auteur distiller Fanny Fougerat's Hors-Serie range of high class one-off special editions.
Fougerat cognacs are celebrated for their individuality and class - this Petite Champagne cognac was made from a single grape variety, Ugni Blanc, and comes from eaux-de-vies made with grapes from the prestigious Petite Champagne sub-appellation. Fougerat Sir Type 72 50-year-old is a single cask edition totalling just 768 bottles at its natural cask strength of 47.8%, and it's unlikely to be anything less than spectacular.

I know I bought a cask strength whisky but was expecting a nice taste but the strength overpowered the flavor, I found it harsh, but I am not a whiskey conasur. I also bought the secret Orkney signatory cask strength and that was very nice.
