Description

Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Douglas Laing 70cl / 50.2%

A 30-year-old Braeval 1991, bottled in 2022 without colouring or chill filtration by Douglas Laing for their Extra Old Particular (XOP) range. Braeval, also sometimes known as Braes of Glenlivet, is one of Pernod Ricard's more obscure workhorse Speyside distilleries and new bottlings are relatively infrequent, so this is a treat.

This 1991 Braeval 30-year-old came from a single refill barrel (DL15542 for those interested) that yielded 230 bottles at a natural strength of 50.2%, and should be a superlative after-dinner drop.
