A single cask Ben Nevis 2012 10-year-old Highland single malt whisky bottled in 2023 by Adelphi without colouring or chill filtration for their Adelphi Selection range.
This 10-year-old Ben Nevis 2012 came from single cask 2015, a first fill Oloroso sherry hogshead cask that yielded 248 bottles at its whopping natural cask strength of 58.6%. An exceptionally sturdy, heavy-weight sherried Highland whisky - subtle it isn’t, but an extremely punchy and intensely-flavoured dram.

Great value bottle from Signatory - full of rich Madeira notes and slight edgy funk of the distillate come together beautifully! Takes water very well.
It’s a good flavour similar to the secret appetite (M) but with even more flavour. You have to add a bit of water to get it to 50% and the flavour is released in full.
