It's always slightly sad when a distillery won't let indie bottlers use their name on the casks they sell them, but of course better that then not at all. And in the case of Unnamed Orkney distillery, of course, it's almost pointless anyway given that the field of possibles contains only two inhabitants and the answer is never Scapa.
Anyway, this is a 14 year old Not-Scapa from the 2006 vintage matured in refill sherry wood, bottled by Signatory Vintage at 46% and almost certainly the ideal hipflask companion for a Highland walk. In the Park, perhaps.
Our first few cases of this were gone practically before I'd finished writing the description - we've wangled a bit more but at this price it definitely won't last long.
