Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Distillery Bottling 70cl / 46%
The final release of the Tomatin Warehouse 6 Collection is here, with previous expressions in the series coming from the vintages 1971, 1972, 1975, 1977, and 1978.
Distilled in 1976 and matured in two hand selected traditional oak hogsheads, the whisky was matured for over 45 years and bottled at 46% with a yield of just 350 bottles.
The quality of this whisky was echoed when it was recently awarded Gold Outstanding at the International Wine & Spirit Competition 2022 – scooping the highest possible score of 99.
Like the previous releases, the whisky is presented in a hand blown Glencairn crystal decanter and accompanied by 2 branded glasses and a solid copper stopper, all encased in a beautiful piano finished presentation box.
A true "going out with bang" finish to this series.
Please note: This Tomatin 1976 is a maximum 1 Bottle Per Customer, no discount codes apply.

Tasting Notes
Official Tasting Notes
In perfect harmony, aromas of strawberry liqueur, tropical fruits and roasted coconut balance out with an exotic spicy character.
Golden syrup and marzipan add to the complexity, developing into rich chocolate, coffee and brown sugar on the palate.
The exotic spices appear once again with a long, refined, lingering finish.
