Bottled at cask strength in 2005 after an extended period of finishing in fresh Oloroso sherry casks this spirit hails from the first years of production after the distillery re-opened in 1972,; a period when all spirit was heavily peated. It is a rich and chewy malt with intense notes of espresso coffee, dry oak and rich fruit with a wonderful medicinal streak running through it. A fascinating example of Tobermory. Only 902 bottles produced.
