A small batch Speyside (M) 2011 13-year-old Speyside single malt whisky bottled in 2024 without colouring or chill filtration at 57.1% by Signatory Vintage as #29 in their remarkable 100-Proof Editions range.
This is the third of these magnificent Speyside (M) batches in the 100-Proof range and their popularity shows no signs of slowing down. It’s not hard to see why - a high strength 13-year-old whisky from Edrington’s Speyside crown jewel, this was matured 100% in first fill oloroso sherry butts and, as ever with the 100-Proof Editions, looks like fantastic value. A Christmas must-have.

Very pleased with how much care was taken to pack my goods. Wanted it on a certain day very obliging couldn’t wish for more excellent company would definitely recommend
Complex with subtle dried citrus, raisins as I would usually like in a sherry cask but something (the smoke, grape skins ? from the sherry cask?) unwelcome reminds me of grappa.
