Smith & Cross is a pot-distilled Jamaican rum created from a mix of molasses, sugar cane syrup and fresh cane juice at the Hampden estate. Smith & Cross rum is a blend of heavy Wedderburn style spirit aged for six months and the more medium-bodied Plummer spirit, which has been matured for around three years in ex-bourbon barrels.
Bottled at the traditional Navy strength of 57% (100-proof in the old UK Imperial system), Smith & Cross is a modern Jamaican golden potstill rum in the old school style, bottled without chill filtration, colouring or added sugar, and is packed with potent sweet and spicy flavours, making it a great choice for punches and classic Tiki cocktails.
Went to pick this up at the store and the staff were amazing, very knowledgeable and generous with their time/answered questions. The rum is excellent as well, 15ml of this in your mai tai blend is great.
