An 18-year-old 1990 Rosebank bottled in 2008 by Murray McDavid without colouring or chill filtration for their Mission Gold series. This whisky was selected by Jim McEwan and bottled at Murray McDavid's Bruichladdich distillery.
This Rosebank 1990 18-year-old matured in ex-bourbon casks before being finished in red wine casks from Premier Cru claret house Chateau Lafite, and was a limited edition of just 252 bottles at its natural cask strength of 53.5%. Rosebank was making some of its greatest whisky in the last few years leading up to its untimely demise, so this should be superb for fans of red wine finished Lowland single malts.

Yes, a lovely expression from Ardnmurchan. As young as it is (5yrs old I believe), it tastes twice its maturity!
Very well made, delicious & beautifully complex smells & flavours to savour.
