Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: The Glasgow Distillery Company 70cl / 51.8%
This is the fourth bottling in the Prometheus series and again it is a stunning Speyside sherry matured whisky.
This 30-year-old whisky is from the same batch of casks and shares a
very similar flavour profile to the previous 28-year-old Prometheus, but with less smoke on the palate and finish.
Prometheus 30 year old was distilled in 1988 and matured in a single sherry butt for three decades before being bottled at 51.8% with a yield of just 544 bottles.
This bottle is accompanied by a heavyweight metal stopper, an individually numbered booklet and presented in a high-quality piano finish box.

Palate: Velvety dark chocolate and vanilla biscuit open up the palate, leading to luxurious orange marmalade, spicy fruit cake and subtle hints of walnut.
Finish: Long dry finish with a lingering sweet smokiness. Perfectly balanced with hints of toasted oats, shortbread biscuit and spice.
