This single cask Plantation 2016 Barbados 5-year-old rum originates from the West Indies Rum Distillery (home of Cockspur) and has had an eventful maturation, starting with four years tropical ageing in ex-bourbon casks, and was then shipped to France for a further year ageing in Maison Ferrand's French oak casks before a final 4-month finishing period in Port casks.

Nose: Delicate and balanced, it opens on vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg with fruity notes of dry fig, raisins and plum with roasted chestnut and strawberry in the background.
Palate: Light and fresh, on peach, raspberry, bergamot with peanut, cumin and coffee.
