Lowland Single Grain Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Coopers Choice 70cl / 45%
For one of the biggest distilleries in Scotland, and until recently the last working whisky distillery in Edinburgh, you don't hear very much about North British as 99.99999% of its whisky output goes straight into everyday blended Scotch whisky. We should, therefore, be grateful to indies like Cooper's Choice for ferreting out the odd cask for bottling as Lowland single grain whisky.
This is an old one, a North British 1987 bottled as a 32-year-old from a single ex-bourbon cask 238572, which yielded 210 bottles at 45%.
