A long-time favourite with rum fans, Mount Gay XO was relaunched in 2020 with the as Mount Gay XO Triple Cask Blend, emphasising this iconic rum's credentials as a masterpiece of blending.

Mount Gay XO is comprised of rums aged between 5 and 17 years - a change to previous incarnation of Mount Gay XO, whose rums were 8-15yo - with the assemblage containing both pot still and column still rums, as is customary at Mount Gay.

These rums are, as the name suggests, from three different cask types, mainly ex-bourbon and non-bourbon American whiskey, but also some Cognac casks, presumably from owner Remy Martin.
