A small batch Mannochmore 2012 11-year-old Speyside single malt whisky bottled in Spring 2024 without colouring or chill filtration by Signatory Vintage as No.13 in their 100-Proof Editions..
This 2012 Mannochmore 11-year-old was bottled at 57.1% (100 Imperial Proof) from a batch of first fill Oloroso sherry butts which, judging from the colour, should have enhanced without dominating the flavours of Mannochmore's splendid spirit. This will be a gem and looks like fantastic value.
I'm no whisky expert but this is decent stuff and at 57% proof. Another bottling where you get more than your monies worth.

Very pleased with how much care was taken to pack my goods. Wanted it on a certain day very obliging couldn’t wish for more excellent company would definitely recommend
Complex with subtle dried citrus, raisins as I would usually like in a sherry cask but something (the smoke, grape skins ? from the sherry cask?) unwelcome reminds me of grappa.
