Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Fable 70cl / 55.5%
Pendulum Spirits' Fable series returns with another Mannochmore representing the Hound in Chapter Five of their Ghost Piper of Clanyard Bay fable.
This single cask Mannochmore is from the 2009 vintage this time, and has been bottled as a 12-year-old from a hogshead that yielded 252 bottles at 55.5%. The Fable bottlings from Pendulum have been probably the most eye-catching new indie releases this year and we expect brisk demand for this one.
*Please note that this Fable Mannochmore is Maximum 1 Bottle Per Customer - duplicate orders will be deleted.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Ripe pear, honeydew melon, fine oak flavour. Ripened strawberries mixed with white grapes. Obvious aromas of pear, honey, herb garden.
Palate: Mango and pear storms forward followed by oak flavour. Very full-oily mouthfeel, the strawberry grape comes back, oily-crisp. A little forest honey. Candle wax mouthfeel green, fruit.
With water added - less toasted oak notes, bright green exotic fruit salad, fresh bread, very buttery.
Finish: An elegant expression from Mannochmore, even at 55% the honey-pear-mango essence with the most pleasant toasted oak notes. Fruit salad, long – medium finish very slightly astringent, spicy oak, fresh mint, creamy banana.
