Bottled in 2022 by Gordon & MacPhail, this Macallan 2000 Speyside single malt whisky was drawn from a single cask and bottled under their Speymalt series.
This Speymalt 21-year-old Macallan 2000 was bottled from Cask 3241, yielding 248 bottles at its natural cask strength of 54.1%. The wood type isn't stated, but the tasting notes include summer berries with autumn spice and fruitcake. The Palate has stewed fruit, demerara sugar and sweet apple. The finish is full and long lasting with dried cherry and charred oak.
