An exceptionally rare independent bottling of Macallan 1989, this single cask edition was bottled in 2002 by Morrison Fairlie Distillery Co. for their Scotland's Malt's (sic) of Distinction series.
This 12-year-old Macallan 1989 came from a single Oloroso sherry cask that yielded a total of 144 bottles at its natural cask strength of 51.4%. A splendid indie Macallan packed with flavour at its naturally gentle cask strength.

I know I bought a cask strength whisky but was expecting a nice taste but the strength overpowered the flavor, I found it harsh, but I am not a whiskey conasur. I also bought the secret Orkney signatory cask strength and that was very nice.
