This particular Linkwood is of the 2008 vintage and was bottled in 2021 as a 13-year-old at a tempting 53.8% from a first fill Oloroso sherry butt, with 586 bottles yielded from cask 805189.

An exciting deep rich brown coloured liquid.
A compote of fruit together with dried grapes is lovely on the tongue.
Nicely sweetened syrup is evident too.

I know I bought a cask strength whisky but was expecting a nice taste but the strength overpowered the flavor, I found it harsh, but I am not a whiskey conasur. I also bought the secret Orkney signatory cask strength and that was very nice.
