A 26-year-old Invergordon 1991 single cask single grain whisky bottled in 2018 without colouring or chill filtration by Cadenhead's for their short-lived Gold Label Single Cask series.
This Cadenhead's Gold Label 1991 Invergordon 26-year-old matured in an ex-bourbon hogshead that yielded 156 bottles at a potent 53.8%. The majority of Invergordon's spirit goes into owner Whyte & Mackay's blends, but thankfully an increasing number of these great long-aged casks are hitting the market these days - this should be splendid stuff.

Yes, a lovely expression from Ardnmurchan. As young as it is (5yrs old I believe), it tastes twice its maturity!
Very well made, delicious & beautifully complex smells & flavours to savour.
