Single Cask Guatemalan Rum
Bottled By: Berry Brothers & Rudd 70cl / 56.3%
A full strength 9-year-old 2013 vintage rum from a mystery Guatemalan distillery, bottled at full strength by our tweed-fancying chums at Berry Brothers & Rudd.
Details on this one are scanty, but we know that this rum came from a single hogshead cask that was bottled without colouring or chill filtration and yielded 270 bottles at 56.3%. The good folk at BBR really know their stuff when it comes to cane spirits, so this will definitely be worth a punt for rum fans.
Please note that this Guatemala Rum is Strictly Maximum 1 Bottle Per Customer.

Tasting Notes
Official Tasting Notes
One of the most beautifully balanced rums to be found, this Guatemalan bottling delivers an experience that propels it into the realm of the world’s greatest spirits.
The sweet and dry elements vie to impart a wonderful mix of tropical fruits, citrus, apple and peppery spice.
There is also a juicy crispness that makes it an excellent sipping rum; moreish, with lingering fruit and great length.
Jonny McMillan Says
“Right in the centre of the aged rum flavour spectrum this vibrant rum is neither too heavy, nor too light, with a character moving between light fruits, tropicality, cream soda, molasses and vanilla. A masterclass in balance and complexity without being too subtle about it either.”
