An old bottle of Glenrothes 1975, bottled in 2006 as part of the distillery's Limited Release series of top class vintage editions.
This 1975 Glenrothes was a small batch of just 3708 bottles at 43% and has a rich sweet, nutty, fruity palate with notes of toffee, vanilla and spices that suggests a strong sherry influence. As ever with these long-aged Glenrothes vintages, this will be a brilliant after-dinner dram for fans of complex but easy-drinking Speyside whiskies.
