Tasting Notes
This is a cask at its peak. Being a refill sherry cask. it has taken time to slowly build up colour and cask richness, leaving the spirit space to mature, develop and deepen.
It has classic old whisky character which balances perfectly with the slowly sourced oak notes. The wood adds weight and richness on the finish without overpowering the fruitiness of the spirit.
It has the combination of a great viscosity on the palate while still allowing the light fruity top notes to come to the fore.
