A cask strength 2006 Glenallachie 15-year-old bottled as part of 2021's Batch 5 UK Single Cask releases from the distillery.
This specially selected full strength Glenallachie 2006 has been bottled from a single Rioja barrique cask that yielded 301 bottles at its remarkable full cask strength of 60.5% - pretty good going for a 15-year-old and no doubt this will be an intense whisky undiluted, with a full-on palate of sweet cooked red fruit.

Nose: Rich notes of stewed plums, raspberries, coconut, treacle and nutmeg.
Palate: Layers of heather honey, treacle and ginger, with red berries, apricots and almonds.
