An old bottle of Glen Turner 8-year-old Special Reserve, a blended malt Scotch whisky by French behemoth La Martiniquaise. The latter are best known nowadays for having bought Glen Moray distillery from Glenmorangie in 2008, but they'd been around for a while before then, and we reckon this bottle dates from the 1990s.
Glen Turner is not a well-known Scotch in the UK, but the brand has existed since the 1980s and sells over a million bottles per annum, with France the most important market. This Glen Turner 8-year-old is a blended malt whisky (bearing the now-verboten Pure Malt term), but undisclosed single malts have also been bottled as Glen Turner in the past.

Yes, a lovely expression from Ardnmurchan. As young as it is (5yrs old I believe), it tastes twice its maturity!
Very well made, delicious & beautifully complex smells & flavours to savour.
