Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky Bottled by: Gordon & MacPhail 70cl / 40%
A rare 1965 Glen Mhor Licensed Bottling released by indie heroes Gordon & MacPhail in 2003, making this whisky either 37 or 38 years old.
Glen Mhor was a quiet Inverness distillery that was very rarely officially bottled as a single malt and was closed by Diageo forerunners SMD in 1983. The site was demolished a few years later, so all that remains of the distillery are rare old delights such as this 1965 vintage bottling from Gordon & MacPhail - a rich, characterful dram bursting with fruit and polished, spicy oak.

Yes, a lovely expression from Ardnmurchan. As young as it is (5yrs old I believe), it tastes twice its maturity!
Very well made, delicious & beautifully complex smells & flavours to savour.
