Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Gordon & MacPhail 70cl / 50.4%
Glen Grant is one of the most versatile single malts in Scotland: the distillery's pristine spirit is equally at home in sherry, bourbon or refill casks, and although it can mature early and be enjoyed young it also ages magnificently.
Released in summer 2021, this Gordon & MacPhail Glen Grant 1996 has been bottled as a 23-year-old from a single refill American hogshead at its natural cask strength of 50.4% for G&M's Connoisseurs Choice Cask Strength series and needless to say it will be a superb dram.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Lemon sherbet aromas complement ripe pear and an undertone of soft vanilla.
Palate: Toasted oak gives way to sharp green apple flavours and a hint of menthol.
Finish: Short and smooth with persevering lemon peel.
