Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Hannah Whisky Merchants 70cl / 56.7%
If a whisky could be a dessert then this Speyside stunner from Glen Elgin would be it. The flavours imparted from the Tawny port cask finish make this an exceptionally fruity and moreish dram.
This single cask Glen Elgin was distilled in March 2004 and matured for 15 years in a single bourbon barrel #801297.
It was then finished in an ex-tawny port cask from Josafer for four months.
It was finally bottled in January 2020 at a cask strength of 56.7% by Hannah Whisky Merchants for the Lady of the Glen Series with a yield of just 300 bottles.
