One of series of Famous Grouse vintage blended malt whiskies released between 1999-2004. This particular Famous Grouse blended malt was assembled from malt whiskies distilled in 1992 and was released in 2003.
Mostly ignored on release, these vintage Famous Grouse blended malts have recently found their audience, and are now rather popular on the secondary market. A curious example of a brand extension that succeeded on its own terms but was still a commercial failure, it's great that these whiskies have finally found their time and place.
