Don Papa Small Batch Rum is a column-distilled rum made with molasses from sugarcane grown in the Mt. Kanlaon region in the Philippines, an area known as Sugarlandia.
Don Papa is aged in ex-bourbon barrels, and this is a rum for the truly sweet-toothed among you, with a massive sugar, caramel and, most of all, vanilla presence on the palate, some sweetened citrus flavours and bitter coffee / burnt sugar notes on the finish.
