Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Gordon & MacPhail 70cl / 47.8%
A single cask 46-year-old Convalmore 1975 bottled by gordon & MacPhail in 2021 and released in Autumn 2022 as part of the first batch of the company's Recollection series, which celebrates Scotland's great lost distilleries.
Convalmore was an unsung workhorse Speyside distillery in its lifetime but its reputation has increased dramatically in the years since its closure in 1985. This 1975 Convalmore came from a refill American oak hogshead that produced 138 bottles at a natural cask strength of 47.8%.
