St Lucian Rum
Distillery Bottling 70cl / 46%
A bottle of Chairman's Reserve 1931, the prestige edition from St. Lucia Distillers. Please note that 1931 is not the vintage of the whisky.... it's the year that the original Dennery distillery was founded in St Lucia's Mabouya Valley.
Nowadays Dennery is no more, but its spirit lives on at its sister Roseau distillery, where this Chairman's Reserve 1931 was created using both molasses rum and 10% agricole rhums. The rums in this Chairman's Reserve 1931 were matured for 7-12 years in ex-bourbon and a small proportion of port casks before bottling at a higher strength of 46% for extra oomph.
