Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Douglas Laing 70cl / 46%
A youthful Caol Ila from the 2012 vintage bottled from a refill sherry butt by Douglas Laing for their Provenance series in Sept 2020, yielding a whopping 797 bottles at 46%.
Caol Ila's ultra-pure spirit doesn't always sit well with first fill sherry, with a few honourable exceptions it's generally better in refill wood. This should be excellent.
