An older bottling of sherry finish Bowmore 15-year-old, when it still carried the famous 'Darkest' soubriquet, which was dropped in 2017. The livery on this bottle dates this a little earlier, probably pre-2011.
Bowmore Darkest is probably the most famous of all Bowmore's core range from the late 1990s onwards, with legions of fans flocking to its sherry finished charms. A benchmark Islay whisky.
As much as Bowmore says that this is the same as the 15, the 15 Darkerlst is much nicer.
