An old bottling of Bowmore 12-year-old Islay single malt whisky. This is in the old white label bottling common around the turn of the millennium and early 2000s.
A classic medium-bodied, medium-peated Islay single malt whisky, these turn of the century Bowmore 12-year-olds usually lack the rather floral notes that dogged the 1990s bottlings that preceded them, and remain popular with Islay whisky fans today.

An exciting deep rich brown coloured liquid.
A compote of fruit together with dried grapes is lovely on the tongue.
Nicely sweetened syrup is evident too.
Invested in two bottles but will be ordering a third.
